In the News.... Our first Adoption Fair was held on Saturday, Sep. 18, 2010, at La Paloma Park in Menifee and was quite a success. The event was sponsored by the local bird club, The Beak Squad. We had a good turnout and it was a really good socializing time for the seven birds we brought with us. To read the great article published by The Californian newspaper click on the link below...http://www.nctimes.com/news/local/menifee/article_6a34e20b-fe90-5294-b601-5ab1e57206aa.html And as a followup to this Adoption Fair, Boo the umbrella cockatoo found her forever home and is now living in a brand new condo with Chris and Beth Scolinos of Murrieta. Chris had been looking for just the right bird for his family and Boo made sure he picked her. We are so excited that things worked out perfectly for Ms. Boo...she deserves it! Adoption Fairs are held periodically. If you are interested in working one, sponsoring one, or have an idea of where one should be, drop us a line and we'll contact you further. Thanks from all our little feathery hearts!!
